Our story
Revelo was founded in 2015 as a spin-off of the University of Ljubljana, with strong roots in the development of Orange Data Mining.
We started by helping organisations prepare and analyse their data and by developing custom solutions around Orange. Over time, the projects became broader and more demanding, bringing together data science, software development, scientific knowledge, infrastructure and rapid prototyping.
As the company grew, we also became increasingly clear about how we wanted to work. We care about the quality of our work, about the people we work with, and about the people in our own team. We value trust, independence, collaboration and open communication, and we believe that demanding work should still leave space for life outside work.
Today, Revelo works across research, industry and the public sector on complex projects where data, software and domain expertise need to come together — while trying to remain the kind of company we ourselves want to work in.
